About Me

Don Butterfield, licensed acupuncturist, began studying the art and technique of acupuncture in Victoria, B.C., in 1980 and has been in private practice since 1988 in Mount Vernon. Don graduated from the Southwest Acupuncture Clinic in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He attended The Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and studied under Dan Bensky, author of several major acupuncture textbooks. In 1987, he completed a four month clinical training at a hospital in Hangzhou, China. He has studied cranialsacral therapy. He continues to take classes in palpation and treatment.
